The decade is the 90’s. The victims? The one-hit wonders that never amounted to more than a few weeks with ’round the clock radio (and video) play.
Let’s see where this journey takes us…
Your Woman - White Town
Girl, You’ll be a Woman Soon – Urge Overkill
Natural One – Folk Implosion
Friends of P – The Rentals (Matt Sharp of Weezer fame’s side project)
Angry Johnny - Poe
Are you Jimmy Ray? – Jimmy Ray
Steal My Sunshine - Len
Summer Girls - LFO
Standing Outside a Broken Telephone Booth with Money in My Hand- Primitive Radio G-ds
Breakfast at Tiffany’s – Deep Blue Something
Everything Falls Apart – Dogs Eye View

Remember some of those, but some were “one semi-hit wonders”

It may have been where I was living at the time, but they were on a repetitive loop all day long, back when they used to play “good” music. You could hear the same song twice within the same hour. Talk about your urge “overkill”…heh
