Cool kids never have the time. They really don’t.

The 90’s brought some great music, but when it comes to music videos, nothing comes close to my all-time favorite video. As soon as I purchased “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness”, I listened to both albums intently and the one song that stuck in my head that very first night was “1979″. It felt like a teen-angst filled declaration of independence and the video certainly did not disappoint. In fact, it pretty much summed up my exact feelings on how I viewed my own teenage lifestyle.

After hearing of stolen video footage which delayed the release of the video at that time (Dec 96), they came up with this masterpiece:
